ANIMARKT MASTERS

Part supporting the professional development of industry representatives, dedicated to puppet animation creators, animators, project authors and performers of decorations, dolls and props, screenwriters, cinematographers, lighting specialists and producers. It includes workshops, masterclasses, discussions and consultations with leading industry representatives in Europe.

Masterclasses

A series of masterclasses exploring the secrets of puppet animation – their subject matter will focus on both technical and production issues:

• animated document;
• construction of a semi-flat animation puppet;
• audience building process for a feature film based on the example of "The Inventor";
• production of an episode film on the example of "The House"

Discussions

The discussion program assumes the organization of three panels in which eminent specialists will share their experiences in working on an animated film. Planned discussions will cover the following issues:

• green stop motion animation production;
• post-pandemic animation distribution;
• the position of women in the production and promotion of animation.

Workshops

Two workshops will be conducted to improve technical skills in the field of animation and soft skills of graduates, students of the last years of art and technical schools (educating in the field of film and animation) and novice artists. The workshops will be of a highly exclusive nature, each will have a limited number of places (maximum 10 people).

Ask the Expert

A series of consultation meetings of experienced practitioners with students and graduates of animation faculties as well as young creators and producers. They will make it possible to present selected projects and to consult individual aspects of their implementation.
